Overview

What this endpoint does

A registration number is the one piece of vehicle data almost every workflow already has. The Vehicle RC API turns it into a full picture: registered owner, manufacturer and model, fuel type, engine and chassis identifiers, registering authority, and the dates that determine whether the vehicle is road-legal today.

That removes the step where someone photographs an RC book, somebody else squints at it, and a third person files it. The record comes back structured, timestamped, and ready to store against the application.
